APPLICATION DOCUMENT CHECKLIST

The supporting documents for an ABRIPSA membership application, per the application pack — gather, certify, format and submit.

Phase 1 — Documents to gather
Certified copy of your ID or passport.
Curriculum vitae, current and signed or dated.
Certified copies of your qualifications.
Proof of professional memberships where applicable — for example LPC, SAICA, SAIPA or CIPC business rescue licence numbers.
Phase 2 — Certification and format
Copies certified by a commissioner of oaths, with the certification recently dated.
Files for the online form saved as PDF, JPG or PNG.
Each file at most 5 MB, and attachments at most 15 MB combined; larger documents can be emailed instead.
Files named clearly, for example certified-id.pdf and cv.pdf.
Phase 3 — Submitting
Membership category selected — professional, associate, graduate or institutional — and the motivation statement written.
Online: the application form at abripsa.org.za/apply.php completed, with documents attached.
Or by email: the application pack completed and sent with the documents to membership@abripsa.org.za.
Phase 4 — After you submit
Acknowledgement of receipt retained.
Invoice for the once-off R500 application fee expected on receipt of the application.
Membership Committee outcome expected within 14 to 21 business days.
On approval: application fee and first annual subscription paid, after which the certificate of membership and membership number follow.
